Let Go of The Egooo ! Inspiring Lecture

Is Our Concern to Seek the TRUTH ? or to Win a DEBATE ???

Whether, we believe in the same thing or not, the biggest reality in life is that we are all going to die.

AGREED?

If not why do most of us fear such a thing?

Now our beliefs may differ in regards to this. However, as soon as we will meet with this reality, we will come to know what the truth ever was.The truth can only take on ONE form and it is our responsibility as human beings to search what the truth is (with an open mind). Just because we do not personally agree with something, it does not prevent truth from still being the truth.

For example;

An employer gives his employee £10 and wants him to believe the money he has given him is really £100 (despite the fact it remains quite clear he was given a £10 note). Although, what he has been told sounds more appealing than the truth.Despite all his wishes or all his efforts the employee cannot believe a £10 note is in fact £100, simply because if he tried to spend this money, he would only get £10 worth of goods in return for his money. Therefore, a £10 note will always remain a £10 note (no matter what we try to call it).

The same way the truth can only be the truth, no matter how much we attempt to beautify falsehood and convince ourselves or others to believe that falsehood is the truth. Most of the inter-faith debates we have are because one claims to be more truthful in regards to their faith or beliefs than the other. I have observed many such debates and what I have come to realise is that the prime objective is usually to try and prove the other wrong, rather than actually going out there in search for the truth. Just because your come back or the language you use whilst presenting your case seems more convincing, if what the other person has spoken is the truth. No matter how much you try to disprove them, it will always remain the truth.

If you are firm in your belief what you are following is the truth, then your concern should not be about winning an argument, rather it should be about whether deep down, have you been able to convince yourself with it?

Sometimes what happens is that the followers of falsehood, deep down know what they are following is not true. However, because of the fulfilment of selfish desires and evil motives they will never admit they are wrong. Since it will ruin they own credentials in the world, with the potential of a causing huge amount of damage to their own egos. So that is why, when the truth starts becoming more dominant, falsehood tries to oppress it and the tactics they use is to try and make the truth look ugly.

Sadly what I have described above is something which is happening right infront of us and this is only clear to the followers of the truth. So no matter how much the truth is oppressed or made to look ugly, it will always remain to be the truth.

As brother Malcom X once said:

"Truth is on the side of the oppressed" - Malcolm X (El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz)

Regardless of our faith ,what human beings need to realise is that the truth is not of any need for people to accept it; rather it is the need of human beings to go out there and search for it.

Now if we are truly sincere, if we just open our eyes and use our common sense the truth will then become clear.

Truly THE SOURCE OF ALL TRUTH ! is where the truth can only be found ! Since the truth can only take on ONE form and that Form is 'THE ONE TRUE GOD' ! if we submit to Him (not our ownselves) then ultimately we are the followers of the truth.
A Muslim is the one who submits himself before 'THE ONE TRUE GOD' .

Who are the ''OPPRESSORS''of women ???

For many Muslimahs out there this is kinda a broken record ! To wear either the niqab or the hijab is a symbol of oppression ! (sorry but you gota Laugh Out Loud !)....

Firstly, how can a garment or a piece cloth oppress someone may I ask?

Do they not consider just for one moment ! hang on this might be this woman's choice ? What if we were to say the same thing about them, like for example ; this woman is being oppressed by her husband he makes her wear revealing outfits" Lol The statement would be regarded as completely ridiculous.

What amazes me is the very people who label these women as being oppressed are the ones who actually oppress them. If they were really concerned about the liberation of Islamic Women, then why do they refuse them a job or a certain position on these grounds? When their claim is that Muslim women should be given the right to education as well as the freedom to advance themselves. WE AGREE ! But Hang on ! that's what Islam allows in the first place ! The difference being Islam allows such rights whilst also being able to wear the hijab or niqab. Whilst (the so called Liberators) only allow such things if the hijab or niqab are not worn. So who are the oppressors I ask ? Isn't preventing a group from social advancement on the grounds they wish to practise their faith; a form of oppression ?

Or just because someone wears revealing outfits and they are given a top position, does this mean they are liberated ? Isn't society oppressing them because they are faced with the ideology that social advancement can only be achieved through these means ?

Finally, why do we live in a society where by women think they have to act like men to think they are being treated as equals? They themselves are conforming to the idea that men are superior to women. When in reality both roles are just as important in society. The thing about Islam is that it values both roles and it values a women for her role. It doesn't make her feel she needs to act like a man to be given any worth in society. You see a Muslimah does not need compliments of a man to make her feel special, her rights in Islam does that for her anyway. Just because Islam gives the man the role of being a protector of women ! that certainly does not make him an oppressor ! When a president or celebrity goes around with body guards to protect them, are they regarded as being oppressed ? NO ! they are seen with importance that's why they being protected. Like the metaphor which is widely used to describe a Muslim Woman. She is like a jewel to society. Her beauty can only be seen by those that are deserving of her. However, her true beauty in my view is how she confirms to her God given role as a daughter/ Sister/ wife and Mother (and above all her Iman).

On that note I'd like to say Alhamdulilah for being a Muslimah !

Be Not Divided (what the ummah is facing)

Unfortunately, we are living in a time where by Muslims are more concerned about what sect to belong to, rather than simply being a Muslim. Communities are separated and everyone claims their version of Islam is the truth. What I see is that pride comes in the way of people accepting the truth. However, a person is truly a Muslim if they truthfully submit themselves fully to Allah (Swt). They sacrifice all their worldly desires for the sake of no one but Allah. Which, technically is the definition of the term Muslim.

Being a Muslim is not a title, name or even a birth given right. Rather, it is a privilege that is earned .The Prophet عليه السلام‎ warned us that eventually the people of our religion would divide into seventy three sects and that only one amongst them would actually obtain paradise.

Allah warns us in the Quran:

"And hold fast, all of you together, to the rope of Allah and be not divided."Surah al-Imran

Quran (3:103)

If the Prophet عليه السلام‎ was the best of all creations (The Most Beloved to Allah), as well as the fact he was guaranteed paradise and the ummah of his time were known to be the most righteous amongst all of his followers, as the Prophet عليه السلام‎ was present right in front of them and the verses of the Quran had been revealed during their time. Common sense suggests; this is the example we should all follow. We are very quick to say we are from the Muslims who will enter Jannah with the Prophetعليه السلام, but we rarely question what if 'I' was amongst the 72 groups who don't. When in reality mathematically speaking the probability could be considered far greater. For some who are reading this might think I’m stating the obvious. However, in a time whereby Islam is becoming complicated to the extent it's being corrupted, I feel there is a need for us to return back to the basics and revive the true Islam. For our deen does not need sugar coating, it's plenty sweet enough anyway !

I remember listening to an amazing lecture once and the scholar was saying “We cannot customise Islam to suit ourselves, rather we have to change instead” simply because Islam is pure and free from any faults what-so-ever. The faults lie with us if we try to change it. I regard this as being very true. I’m writing this as a reminder to myself and hopefully Insh’Allah perhaps it could benefit the youth of today, who want to come back to the deen. But the whole issue of sects, rituals as well as traditions hinder their vision of Islam. They become confused on what path to take, that they end up taking no path at all. Whilst, it’s vital we invite others to our beautiful deen. At the same time it’s important that we encourage those steering away from it, to come back. Although, Allah does guides whom He wills.

The Prophet عليه السلام‎ advised us if we follow two things then we will never go astray (Quran and Sunnah). I urge anyone to read or perhaps re-read the Prophet عليه السلام‎ last sermon. There is so much wisdom in it, that if followed, it would most certainly benefit us as well as the rest of Man Kind. It’s a summary of what Muslims should be doing (including me). For me it summarises what Islam is about. To this day I have never heard or read a single speech that promotes such equality and justice the way this sermon does Mash’Allah. "I have a dream" by M.king is worth applauding, but that doesn't even come close !

This sermon was delivered on the Ninth Day of Dhul Hijjah 10 A.H. in the 'Uranah valley of Mount Arafat' (in Mecca). After praising, and thanking Allah he said:

"O People, lend me an attentive ear, for I know not whether after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and TAKE THESE WORDS TO THOSE WHO COULD NOT BE PRESENT HERE TODAY.O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your LORD, and that HE will indeed reckon your deeds. ALLAH has forbidden you to take usury (interest), therefore all interest obligation shall henceforth be waived. Your capital, however, is yours to keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer any inequity. Allah has Judged that there shall be no interest and that all the interest due to Abbas ibn 'Abd'al Muttalib (Prophet's uncle) shall henceforth be waived...Beware of Satan, for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.O People, it is true that you have certain rights with regard to your women, but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives only under Allah's trust and with His permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers. And it is your right that they do not make friends with any one of whom you do not approve, as well as never to be unchaste. O People, listen to me in earnest, worship ALLAH, say your five daily prayers (Salah), fast during the month of Ramadan, and give your wealth in Zakat. Perform Hajj if you can afford to.All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves. Remember, one day you will appear before ALLAH and answer your deeds. So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.O People, NO PROPHET OR APOSTLE WILL COME AFTER ME AND NO NEW FAITH WILL BE BORN. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the QURAN and my example, the SUNNAH and if you follow these you will never go astray. All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly. Be my witness, O ALLAH, that I have conveyed your message to your people".

Islam teaches us to live life in accordance with a balance. The Sunnah of the Prophet عليه السلام‎ is in fact the very essence of living life through the middle course. I use to be so shy that I once feared marriage. Whilst hayah is a part of faith, if taken to the extreme it could prevent you from obtaining sawab. The following hadith changed my opinions in regards to this matter and I realised I was wrong.

Hadith - Sahih Bukhari Volume 7, Book 62, No. 1, Narrated Anas bin Malik

"A group of three men came to the houses of the wives of the Prophet asking how the Prophet worshipped (Allah), and when they were informed about that, they considered their worship insufficient and said, "Where are we from the Prophet as his past and future sins have been forgiven." Then one of them said, "I will offer the prayer throughout the night forever." The other said, "I will fast throughout the year and will not break my fast." The third said, "I will keep away from the women and will not marry forever." Allah's Apostle came to them and said, "Are you the same people who said so-and-so? By Allah, I am more submissive to Allah and more afraid of Him than you; yet I fast and break my fast, I do sleep and I also marry women. So he who does not follow my tradition in religion, is not from me (not one of my followers)."

If we actually examine the meaning of Islam, what does it mean? Okay it means PEACE. But why does it mean peace? It means peace because it teaches us to live in accordance with the prescribed measurement Allah (Swt) has promised to be best for us.

This is evident in many of His signs. For example; take healthy foods if that is all we eat, that then becomes bad for you. The body also needs fats for energy. Hence, the body is not at peace (or cannot function to its fullest) unless it receives a balanced diet.

Another example would be that of a plant. It needs water and light for it to live and grow. However, if given too less water (it will dry out) but at the same time if the plant is given too much (it will drown). Hence, it needs just the right measurement in order for it to survive (which is usually not too much, not too less).

The same can be applied to our deen. Hence, that is why Islam means peace, because it means to live life in accordance with the true measurement prescribed most beneficial to man, by Allah (Swt).

What we have to remember Islam came to teach people the middle ground. For those that label Islam as being extreme, they should think again. Since the Jews deviated from their Moses (Peace Be Upon Him) that they ended up worshiping the calf. Whereby, on the other hand the Christians loved their Messenger Isa (Jesus) (Peace Be Upon Him) to the point that they even claimed him to be the son of God or even God Himself (Astaghfurallah). If you had to place all three religions on scale; Christianity and Judaism would be on either side of the scale and Islam would be placed right on the Middle. Since Islam teaches us to love our Messenger عليه السلام‎ even more than our own selves, but not more than the Creator Himself. Now how can there be justice when the Creator is loved less than the person whom He had created? If there is no justice, how can there ever be peace?

Now the Prophet عليه السلام‎ was the best of all of Allah's creations. To think if the creation itself is so beautiful, how beautiful must our CREATOR be? It is beyond our comprehension.

ALLAH HU AKBAR!

On a final note ! Let our knowledge gainned from Islam not be a reason why we become arrogant, rather let it be a reason why we become humble and treat others with kindness as well as respect. Despite the Prophet عليه السلام‎ being the best amongst all men, and the fact he was most knowlegeable in regards to the religion. He was still the most Humble !

Give thanks to Allah !

Jazak Allahu Khair for reading ! May Allah guide us all on the right path (Ameen)

This is Merely Common Sense

In the Name of Allah, The Most Beneficent, The Most Merciful

Allah reveals in The Noble Quran:

Now have come to you from your Lord, proofs (to open your eyes): if any will see, it, will be for (the good of) his own soul; if any will be blind it will be to his own (harm): I am not (here) to watch over your doings."
[Quran : 6:104]

If one can believe in air why not Allah (God)?

What amazes me is the very fact people can believe in air (when it cannot even be seen).Yet,they refuse to believe in the very existence of Allah (God) for the same reason. When in reality we are in need of Allah (God) for survival, more than the air which we breath. For it is Allah who provides us with it in the first place. The only reason why air is even beneficial for us and keeps us alive is due to Allah’s supreme Mercy upon his creations. If we attempt to hold our breath, the maximum any person can cope without having any air being fed through their lungs, is for a couple of seconds or perhaps even minutes (but no longer than that). The same way, if Allah stopped controlling the universe for even a second, ask yourself the question; what would happen to us? Who is it that is responsible for making sure that we are kept sustained continuously like this? Just because we are constantly supplied with such necessities, without any effort or even having to consciously think about it; this does not mean we do not have a Sustainer. A Sustainer who is like no other provider, who never forgets even for a second to supply any of His servants with such sustenance. The fact of the matter is; we can’t even sustain ourselves, let alone being able to sustain every single being or creation ever made (before and after time). This proves; the One who is sustaining us, is also the One who has created all living things, as He is fully aware of our every need, more than we are aware ourselves. Not only is He aware of our every need, it is only Him who has the power & capacity to be able to cater for them.

Allah reveals in The Noble Quran:

“No vision can grasp Him, but His grasp is over all vision”

[Quran: 6:103]

Can you make something out of nothing?

Now I would like you to make something for me. I am not going to give you anything to make it with. It can be as big or small as you like. It can even replicate something which already exists. I now ask is this even possible ? Even if every single being gathered ourselves together to recreate anything that already exists from nothing, we would fail to do so. The only way possible would be; if the Creator of All things willed us to do so. Being able to create something out of nothing (identical to what already exists) is an unachievable task in its self. Now, think about having to create something out of nothing, without anything ever being there in the first place. Yet for Allah (God) this is so easy. Subhan'Allah !

Allah reveals in The Noble Quran:

“Does not man recall that We created him before when he was not anything”

[Quran 19:67]

“ O mankind ! A likeness has been made, so listen to it carefully: Those you call upon apart from Allah are not even able to create a single fly, even if they were to join together to do it. And if a fly steals something away from them, they cannot get it back from it. How feeble are both the seeker and the sought! They do not measure Allah with His true measure. Allah is All-Strong, Almighty;”

[Quran: 22:73-74]

I need a list of ingredients and recipes for the following:

· Water
· Air
· Clay
· Gold
· Seeds

I’m thinking how I am able to make these things if suddenly they run out? Is there anyone out there who can provide me with recipes or instructions on how they were ever made? The reality is; nobody can. This is because all knowledge of such things is with the One who has made them in the first place. No human or any other being has the answer to this. Therefore, it is clear that all knowledge lies with the Creator of all things (not the creation).

Solution to climate change, our natural resources being depleted & wars being fought over oil:

The simple answer would be; why not create another world? I mean if modern science is as good as it claims to be (this should be easy for them). This way, we don’t have to worry about not having enough oil/ iron etc. If we cannot even make water or oxygen, which is
lifes key ingredient. How can we create another world? This is simply because we neither have the power or knowledge to be able to do so. Allah only has to say “Be” that something comes into existence. How many of us can truly say the same thing happens (if or when) the same words was to be said by any of Allah’s creations.

Allah reveals in The Noble Quran:

“Verily, Our word unto a thing when We intend it, is only that We say unto it; “Be” and it is “

[Quran: 16:40]

Or for those who are too arrogant to believe in a creator. I ask ; why did they not create the world they are currently living in? Instead of living in a world created by something else ?

Who switches the lights on and off?

Okay so some do not believe in a Creator, but they see the night turn into dawn and the day turn into dusk. When the lights come on in our homes, they do not just come on by themselves do they? In fact, they are physically switched on by someone. The same thing applies to when they are turned off. Hence, there needs to be some kind of Sovereign by whose command the day converts into night and the night converts into day (the same way the lights in our homes are turned on or off). The fact the night never attempts to overrule the day, and the day never tries to overcome the night. This is clear proof that there is a God (Allah) who creates order and controls every system. It is only through His instruction that every system runs smoothly as they do. If man was to do this, some days nights would be longer and other days there might not even be night due to the forgetful nature of man. Think about how often do we forget to turn the lights off ?

Allah reveals in the Noble Quran:

“If there were therein Gods beside Allah, then verily both (the heavens and the earth) had been disordered. Glorified be Allah, the Lord of the Throne, from all that they ascribe (unto Him) “

[Quran: 21:22]

This is clear evidence Allah (God) is one. Because if there was more than one Deity controlling the entire universe, they all would have been fighting when it should be day? Or when it should be night? Whether it should always be day? Or whether it should always be night? It is Allah Who provides us with a balance and blesses us with both. If we look at the world leaders of today, they can never seem to agree on one particular way in which the world should be governed, as a results there are wars & disputes which take place globally.

Allah reveals in the Noble Quran:

“ It is He who gave the sun his brightness and the moon her light, and ordered her phases precisely so that you may calculate years and dates from this. Allah, has not created all this (for mere fun) but a serious end. He makes signs manifest for those people who posses knowledge. In the alternation of the night and day and all that Allah has created in the heavens and earth , surely there are signs for those who intend to avoid (deviation from the truth)”.

[Quran: 10: 5-6]

The Sky is forever changing

Have you ever noticed how the appearance of the sky is forever changing? One moment you may have been looking at the sky and it looked one way, few moments later, you look at it once again and it has completely changed.

If you observe carefully, you will also be able to see the clouds are constantly moving. Common sense suggests nothing can possibly move unless it has been moved by something or someone. For example: if I held out my hands and placed a needle onto my palm, it cannot possibly move by its self unless I move it myself or something else does for me. The same way there is something so Devine that is causing these clouds to move and change as they do. What is amazing is the fact the changes are continuous and ongoing. Not even for a second has this or any other process has come to stand still. If this had been the case the world would have ended ages ago. Surely the One who is causing such changes to keep occurring has power over all things. For He does not require any form of rest or support in order for Him to operate such systems (without a single fault). Truly Allah is Akbar & Self Sufficient.

One has to appreciate the beauty in this; because it is not only one system which is being operated here. It is it is absolutely Everything ! No being has the capacity or intelligence to be able to do this, without ever having to rest. What makes the Creator unique to His creation is the fact; we actually do need to rest.Whereas Allah never rests. We are so weak & defenceless that sleep overcomes us very easily and affects the quality of our actions. It is a well known fact human beings are able to go without food for longer than going without any sleep. If a man had to drive just a car for the rest of his life (without any time to sleep or to rest) he would fail considerably. Just say he is a really good driver (had everlasting fuel) the maximum he would probably last driving without having any rest is; for a couple of days or even a week. But you will see the quality of his driving deteriorating as time went on. This would be the result of controlling just one thing without any rest or sleep. Imagine having to control everything in the world in the same way. This for man would prove to be totally impossible. Yet, for Allah everything is possible! and Impossible is Nothing !

Allah reveals in the Noble Quran:

“God ! None has the right to be worshiped but He, the Ever-Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists. Neither slumber nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth. Who is he that can intercede with Him except with his Permission? He knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what will happen to them in the Hereafter. And they will never compass anything of His Knowledge except that which He wills. His Throne [in a figurative sense representing God’s command and control in the universe] extends over the heavens and earth, and he feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And He is Most High, the Most Great”

[Quran: 2:255]

If we do not believe in Allah (God) who are we asking for help from? And why do we fear death?

The belief in Allah (God) is innate in every man or being whether or not we choose to admit it. The evidence is clear, especially when man is faced with difficulties to the point they think they are going to die. During that point they maybe all alone and totally helpless. Usually they fail to acknowledge the existence of Allah (God) in normal everyday life. But when they are left alone to the point of desperation that death may reach them.Even though there maybe nobody present with them at the time. They cry out for something to help them. Who are they crying out to ? When they are isolated and it is clear that there is no one there to hear them, let alone to help them. Even an atheist cries out “oh my God please help me” when faced with such calamities. However, when Allah comes to their rescue and relieves them from their difficulties, they forget that they ever required any help from their Creator and continue with their disbelief.

Allah reveals in The Noble Quran:

“When harm touches man, he calls on Us, lying on his side or sitting down or standing up. Then when We remove the harm from him he carries on as if he had never called on Us when the harm first touched him. In that way We make what they have done appear good to the profligate”.

[Quran: 10:12]

I ask; if they don’t believe in Allah (God) why do they fear death? Surely, they should have nothing to fear, if they feel they have no One to answer to. In other words, even atheist subconsciously believes that they have to return and answer to something. Hence, the knowledge of Allah (God) is innate and it is only arrogance which prevents someone from submitting and accepting the truth.

Allah reveals in The Noble Quran:

“If you think you are subject to nobody, and you deem you are right in thinking so, then why don’t you restore to the dying person his soul when it has come up to the throat and you are helplessly watching that he is at the point of death? At that time We are close to him than you, but you do not see Us”.

[Quran: 56:83-85]

By whose command does our hair or a seed grow?

If we are given a seed and we split it in half, we do not see a beautiful flower, plant or tree trapped inside of it, do we ? How can something so small grow into something far bigger and much more beautiful ? (Subhan'Allah). If we planted a button and someone told it to grow into a garment by giving it water and daylight in order for it to grow (no matter how much they tried, that button would always remain a button, unless a greater command is given to the button. A comman which is incomparable to the that from any ordinary being. It is only through Allah’s command that the seed actually grows as it does .Had Allah (God) willed the seed could have just remained a simple seed rather, instead of growing into a beautiful flower, plant or fruit as it does.

The same thought can be applied to how our hair grows. Although I would not suggest cutting someone’s head in half in order to see what is inside (Lol). But from X-rays, we know that if we were to look inside, there would not even be a single hair trapped inside the head. In that case, what is causing our hair to grow and where is it coming from? Why is it that the hair on our heads can grow to great lengths for most people, yet our eye lashes can only grow to a certain point? This is clear proof that there is something so Infinite who is controlling to what extent something can grow or whether it is able to grow at all. It is because of Allah’s command & decree our eyes lashes do not grow beyond the point Allah has fixed for them. Suggesting nothing has the capacity or power to overrule Allah’s (God) ultimate Will.

The one who has the power for a seed to grow, most certainly is The One who caused us to come into existence . For He is our Originator and Sustainer.

Why can’t a Doctor cure all of his patients?

Here is a scenario;

There are two patients, they both unfortunately developed cancer. They are of the same; age, gender, height, weight, they both have lived an equally healthy life style and both caught the decease at the early stages. Now both cancer patients receive identical treatments. However, after months of ongoing treatment only one manages to survive. I ask why could not the Doctor cure both patients? If he had the capacity to cure one, surely he would be able to cure the other? This indicates that life is fixed. The Doctor never gave the patients their life in the first place, so how can he prevent his death? In fact the patient could not even control his own death, so what makes people think they are the owners of their own lives and all what have been given to them? Whatever happens is because of Allah’s will and no power in the world can possibly overcome that.

"For everything there is a time prescribed."

[Quran: 13:38]

“He it is Who has created you from clay, and has decreed a term for you. A term is fixed with Him. Yet still you doubt!”

[Quran: 6: 2]

Roses; comparison of something artificial with something natural

True story...

One day I decided to make a rose out of some ordinary tissue. Once I had made it, I was quite pleased with what I had made. But, for some reason I was not satisfied. The rose which I had made was very pretty. However, still it lacked perfection. I then got a real rose and started to compare them both with one another. Using my senses, what I noticed about the real rose first of all was how beautifully it smelt. I then smelt the rose which I tried to make. I was not even able to smell a thing. Now we also had some artificial roses in the house, which had been professional made. In fact, they looked so beautiful and were far better than the one I had made, to the extent if I was to see them together next to a real rose, at first glance it would be difficult to distinguish which one was the real rose. I then decided to smell the artificial rose also, but still they could not replicate the smell of a real rose. With my hands I began feeling the texture of the petals and they were made from the softest silk. Still they did not feel the same as the petals of a real rose. I also recalled how when it rains, the rain drops often slip off each petal causing the rose to become dry fairly quickly and it remains in the same state before it encounted the rain. So I decided to water the rose I had made out of tissue, instead of remaining the same. I found I was left with a handful of soaking tissue (as one would have imagined). However, when it did eventually dry I was not able to restore it to its original form (No matter how much I tried). I did the same with the other artificial roses which were professionally made. Although, the rose did remain the same as its original form, it was still soaking wet and took hours to dry completely. Where as, it did not take as long for the real rose to dry, and when watered it is still able to maintain its original appearance and beautiful scent. Although, the artificial looked nearly the same as the real rose, it still lacked perfection, unlike the real rose.

Now this is just one example of how in Allah's creations there are no flaws. Man may seem as though they have the ability to make a lot of things, or replicate Allah's creation. However, they do so by using what Allah has already provided them. Just think if there is perfection in the design of His creations, how perfect must Our Creator be? In each of His creations it is clear to see they have been designed with a purpose and not there for mere fun. Take the texture of the rose petal, can we ever think of creating something that feels the same as they do?

Allah Reveals in The Noble Quran:

" He Who created the seven heavens in layers. You will not find any flaw in the creation of the All-Merciful. Look again-do you see any gaps? Then look again and again. Your sight will return to you dazzled and exhausted ! "

[Quran: 67: 3-4]

The limited capacity of the human mind, take a look at our finger prints and the colours we have.

Science has proven every finger print is unique. Which is why forensics use them to able officers to catch criminals. What is also is amazing about our finger prints, is the fact they never seem to wear away. When in reality we use our hands the most. Even when we become old. Now if you were to compare them to just say a car tyre, where the pattern (thread) is far deeper. In time the pattern from the car tyre eventually wears away. Whereas, our finger prints remain. Even though they are much finer. Imagine how many finger prints must Allah have created right from the time of Prophet Adam (P.B.U.H) and each of them has been unique. That in it's self is just mind blowing . Could man ever be able to do this I ask? Without repeating what they have already created even once. Take fashion for example; why is it that we always seem to remake what we made in the past? If we had to make one thing over and over again, eventually we would repeat what we have already made, either knowingly or unknowingly. This is clear evidence the human mind only has a limited capacity.

Another example of this lies in the concept of colours. Often we take colours we see every day for granted. If they had never existed in the first place, how would we ever know about them?. Tell me of a colour which man has been able to create without Allah (God) having created it in the first place. This suggests that a creation can only create what has already been created for them, in order for them to create. Hence, they are simply a creation not a creator. I believe my Creator to be the One who is able to create anything from nothing. For Allah is surely the best of all Creators.

Allah Hu Akbar (God is Great)

Allah reveals in The Noble Quran:

“He it is Who sends down water (rain) from the sky; from it you drink and from it (grows) the vegetation on which you send your cattle to pasture; With it He causes to grow for you the crops, the olives, the date-palms, the grapes, and every kind of fruit. Verily! In this is indeed an evident proof and a manifest sign for people who give thought. And He has subjected to you the night and the day, the sun and the moon; and the stars are subjected by His Command. Surely, in this are proofs for people who understand. And whatsoever He has created for you on the earth of varying colours. Verily! In this is a sign for people who remember. And He it is Who has subjected the sea (to you), that you eat thereof fresh tender meat (i.e. fish), and that you bring forth out of it ornaments to wear. And you see the ships ploughing through it, that you may seek (thus) of His Bounty (by transporting the goods from place to place) and that you may be grateful. (14) And He has affixed into the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you, and rivers and roads, that you may guide yourselves. And landmarks (signposts, during the day) and by the stars (during the night), they (mankind) guide themselves. Is then He, Who creates as one who creates not? Will you not then remember? “
